How we handle it

Board-up is usually the first thing that has to happen and the thing most likely to be needed outside business hours. We secure openings to keep the property closed to entry and the weather out, then document each one. Where an opening cannot be safely secured, for example an unstable wall or a compromised roof, we photograph it, report it, and recommend the right trade rather than putting a crew at risk.
