How we handle it
Initial cuts on a badly overgrown lot are a different job from a recurring cut, and we scope them that way rather than surprising you. On recurring service, each visit is photographed and dated so you can evidence continuous maintenance if a municipality questions it. Apartment complexes and multi-unit properties are handled on the same documented cycle.
How does lawn maintenance keep a vacant Chicago property out of code enforcement?
Overgrowth is the fastest way for a vacant property to draw a violation, so A&D runs recurring cuts on your required cycle through the growing season and photographs every visit. That dated photo record is what you produce if a municipality questions whether the property was maintained. Badly overgrown lots get a separately scoped initial cut first.
Where we do this work
Lawn Maintenance runs out of A&D's Chicago office across Cook, Will, Kane, and Lake counties in Illinois, plus Northwest Indiana. Coverage for a specific address is confirmed by the office before the work is accepted.

Common questions
- Do you handle the first cut on a badly overgrown lot?
- Yes. An initial cut is scoped separately from recurring service because the work and the equipment are different.
- Will each visit be documented?
- Yes. Every visit is photographed and dated, which is what you need if a municipality questions whether the property was maintained.
- Do you service apartment complexes?
- Yes, multi-unit and complex properties are handled on the same recurring, documented cycle.
